100 Happy Things

On December 1, 2010, I posted the start of my list titled 100 Happy Things.

The purpose of this list is to have something to look at to remind me of the things that always, always, always make me smile and feel good.

  31. Honey’s meatballs (Honey is my grandmother and her Swedish meatballs are to die for—everyone fights over them at Christmas)

  35. Peeing in the ocean (yeah, maybe I’m gross—but you know you do it, too)

  37. Taking off your bra at the end of the day

  39. Getting the answers right on Jeopardy! (Even if it is “Little Kids Week”)

  41. When delivery food arrives really fast
  42. Having a funny dream and waking up laughing

  45. Going on the playground swings
  46. Double Stuffed Oreos dipped in milk
  47. Picking a wedgie (oh so satisfying)

  49. Having the warm pizza box on your lap in the car
  50. Getting a piece of cheese at the deli
  51. Really hot winter showers

  54. Getting out an ingrown hair (whatever, I never claimed to be perfect…or sexy)

  56. Putting your own shoes back on after you go bowling
  57. When the teacher calls you out for doing a move correctly during a group fitness class

  60. Slipping into my white spa robe after a gloriously long, hot shower
